Dr. Egan believes in making the most of every moment, whether he is in the office, spending time with his family, playing ice hockey, or enjoying the great outdoors! He dearly loves any home-cooked meal but also enjoys sushi and Middle Eastern food. Dr. Egan and his wife, Katelynn, have a son, Avan, who is a toddler and is as sweet as he is adventurous! They stay busy outside of the office spending time together and watching Avan grow!
Dr. Eric Egan grew up in Aurora, IL, and has lived in the St. Louis area since 2015. He graduated from Augustana College with a double major in Neuroscience and Pre-Medicine. Afterward, he continued his education by completing a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University, Alton, IL.
With a strong interest in dental surgery, Dr. Egan pursued a General Practice Residency at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. This residency emphasized emergency dental care, including trauma, infection, extractions, and pathology. Dr. Egan then completed a two-year Dental Implant Fellowship at the Advanced Care Clinic of Southern Illinois University’s Dental School.

After his extensive education, Dr. Egan now provides his patients with multiple surgical specialties, including extractions, wisdom tooth removal, single and multiple tooth implants, full-mouth dental implants, same-day tooth extraction with implant placement, implant dentures, bone grafting, and periodontal surgeries including crown lengthening and gum grafting procedures. His advanced training brings options to patients that would be best served with surgical replacements. He is a continuous student eager to learn the latest techniques and science so that he can continue to provide the best, most modern dental procedures to his patients.
