What are Dentures?
Dentures are custom-made, removable replacement teeth designed to restore your smile and improve function. They can be a complete set (replacing all teeth) or a partial set (commonly known as "partials") for those who have only a few missing teeth.
At Union Smiles, we specialize in InPlace™ overdentures, providing a comfortable and reliable solution tailored to your needs. Whether you need a complete denture due to widespread tooth loss or a partial denture to replace specific missing teeth, we have the right option for you!
Why Should You Consider Dentures?
- Missing teeth cause your face to sag or become sunken, making you look older. Dentures help restore a youthful look by supporting facial muscles.
- It allows you to chew and speak more effectively, making it easier to enjoy a variety of foods and socialize.
- Help maintain and strengthen the muscles around your mouth and jaw, contributing to better facial structure.
- Made from high-quality acrylic resin, dentures are strong and durable, offering a long-lasting solution for tooth replacement.

Types of dentures
Complete Dentures: Complete dentures, or full dentures, replace all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw, making them ideal for those with unhealthy teeth that need removal. They restore functionality and appearance, improving eating, speaking, and smiling.
Partial Dentures: Partial dentures replace missing teeth while using nearby healthy teeth as anchors with metal attachments. They are custom-made for comfort and to restore the natural appearance of your smile.
Overdentures: Overdentures fit over one or more remaining natural teeth, which act as anchors. Though they require more preparation and can be more expensive, they offer improved stability and comfort.
Conventional Dentures: Conventional dentures are placed after teeth extractions, allowing gums to heal, which can take weeks or months. Patients may wear a temporary denture during this period before getting the final one.
Immediate Dentures: Immediate dentures are placed right after tooth extractions, reducing initial swelling and improving appearance. They may need more adjustments, but once healing is complete, they can be relined or replaced with permanent dentures.
